Sea Palms Rules and Regulations

 

GENERAL RULES

​

No immoral, improper, offensive or unlawful use shall be made on condominium property. No use may be made which would be in violation of any Federal, state, county or municipal law.

 

Except as authorized by the Board of Directors, no unit owner or resident shall direct, supervise or in any manner attempt to assert any control over any employee or contractor of the management company nor shall they attempt to send an employee or contractor upon private business.

 

All complaints or suggestions must be in writing and signed.

 

There shall be no “for sale”, “for rent” or other notices placed on condominium property by unit owners.

 

No structural changes to a unit can be made without Board approval.

 

Installation of tile must include an approved soundproof underlay material.

 

No installation of carpet on the balcony is permitted.

 

All trash must be contained in a tied bag before dropping in the trash chute. Large items should be carried to the dumpster.

 

Televisions, radios and musical instruments must be kept at reasonable levels of volume at all times.

 

Everyone must wear cover-ups and shoes while in the building.

 

No sunbathing or sports on any lawn area or walkways.

 

No beach chairs or equipment can be left on or under the beach walkway.

 

Please recycle plastic, glass, cans and paper.

 

There shall be no towels, clothing, etc., draped over any railings.

In order to protect your furnishings and the elevator, please provide management with 48 hours notice of your planned move. Management will then place protective pads in one elevator for your use.

 

Owners are responsible to give a copy of the Rules and Regulations to families, guests and renters

SAFETY and SECURITY

​

The Association must retain a key to each apartment in case of emergency.

 

Hurricane shutters should be secured and water shut off if you leave your unit for one week or longer.

 

All building entrances and gates must be closed and locked at all times.

 

Any owner leaving Sea Palms for one week or longer should notify the management. They should notify management upon their return.

 

Upon arrival at Sea Palms, guests must register by completing the form located next to the office – then deliver to the office.

 

No flammable, odorous or explosive materials are allowed in storage lockers.

 

All open-flame cooking must be confined to the Bar-B-Q grills provided by the Association.

 

There shall be no objects placed on any sidewalks, stairs, passages or exterior window sills.

 

No smoking is permitted in the Lobby, Lounge, Sauna, Pump rooms, Storage rooms, Elevators and Laundry rooms.

 

Do not enter the building if you are wet or dripping from the pool or ocean.

 

Swimming pool rules are posted on a sign at the pool and must be followed for safety of all.

 

Children must not play in the parking areas, elevators or stairways.

 

Children under 12 years of age using the pool or in any common area must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

PARKING and VEHICLES

 

No parking in the Condominium lo of any vehicle except a private passenger automobile, truck or motorcycle. No trailers, mobile homes, commercial-type vans, commercial vehicles, boats, boat trailers or any other non-passenger vehicles are permitted.

 

Use only your assigned parking area.

 

Vehicles must park “head in.”

 

The Portico parking is for loading and unloading only.

 

No vehicle repairs may be made in the Parking Lot.

 

Car washing must be done in the designated areas.

 

Visitors must park in the “Visitor” spaces.

 

Bicycles must be in the bicycle rack on the North end of the building.

 

All vehicles must be registered and exhibit a current tag.

​

PETS

 

One pet is permitted in a condominium unit but must be approved by the Board of Directors prior to occupancy.

 

Pets must be less than 20 pounds.

 

Pets must be on a leash in the common areas at all times including the East lawn.

 

Pets are not permitted in the pool, tennis courts or in the Lounge areas.

 

Pets should be carried in the elevators.

 

Pet’s excreta in any area must be picked up and placed in a waterproof container and disposed of in the dumpsters located on either the North or South side of the building.

​

RECREATION

 

The swimming pool is open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Swimming is at your own risk.

 

Children who are not potty trained or other persons who are incontinent may not use the pool.

 

Tennis courts are for owners and their guests. Please wear tennis shoes on the courts. Courts are open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. At various times, lights are limited: check tennis court rules posted on the court.

 

Any child under 18 years of age in the Lounge after 10:00 p.m. must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Tar must be removed from feet by using the Tar Removal Kit found at the end of the beach walkway.
